What are the fees on GDAX?

Trading Fees

GDAX uses a maker-taker fee model. Orders that provide liquidity ("maker orders") are charged different fees than orders that take liquidity ("taker orders"). Currently, all markets have a maker fee of 0%.  Taker fees range from 0.10% to 0.30% based upon the customers trailing 30 day USD-equivalent trading volume.

For the detailed GDAX trading fee schedule, please see https://www.gdax.com/fees.

How is taker fee calculated?

Your taker fee is based upon total USD trading volume over the trailing 30 day period across all order books. Transactions made on books quoted in USD, e.g. BTC-USD, are counted as the total USD amount of each filled order. Transactions made on non-USD books are converted to USD based on the most recent fill price on the respective book. For example a purchase of 1 ETH on the ETH-BTC book, will be immediately converted to a USD equivalent based on the most recent fill price on the ETH-USD book.
